crashin' grandma day

every wednesday my mom watches archer and farmer. we usually crash the party. :) today i took caleb over in the wagon (well, actually, farmer pulled caleb, while driving his john deere tractor, but i didn't get a picture of that). then we put archer in the wagon. then we took some pictures. of course. :)

a baby shower gift

my friend janelle is expecting a baby girl in less than a month! we had a baby shower for her with our church on sunday, march 14. i found a very cute bib pattern and decided to make her a couple of bibs. the pattern used a technique i didn't know how to do yet -- cabling! it was fun and i think the cables turned out great.

happy first birthday, archer!! (a little late...)

archer was very excited about his cake and once he tasted that icing, the cake had NO CHANCE! a job well done, archer! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEETIE!

10 months

we just so happened we had a doctor's appointment on caleb's 10 month mark, so he got weighed: 20 lbs. 4 oz. his ear infections are gone! the possibility of him having bronchitis is gone! we're healthy!! praise Jesus!

caleb wasn't super excited about taking pictures with his stuffed animal. but we needed one! so here it is:

we had fun without the stuffed animal:

• favorite things to do: eat, crawl, and pull himself up
• favorite thing to watch on tv when distraction is needed: mickey mouse clubhouse (it's amazing what it can do for crying!)
• favorite songs: elvira by the oak ridge boys (calms him down and puts him to sleep in the car) and crazy by gnarls barkley (when we're at the computer, i put it on and he loves to dance to it -- or rock back and forth anyways, his version of dancing) :)
• favorite thing not to do: sleep at night (BOO)

we decided to strip down to the diaper so we could get more dirty!

we promptly got in the sink and took a bath! being dirty was fun while it lasted........
