12 months

caleb's 12 month pictures!

his stats are:

height/length: 2.5 feet/30.25 inches

weight: 22 lbs. 8 oz.

with his frog friend (the only good one i could get):

11 months - a smorgasborg of pictures

10 months

we just so happened we had a doctor's appointment on caleb's 10 month mark, so he got weighed: 20 lbs. 4 oz. his ear infections are gone! the possibility of him having bronchitis is gone! we're healthy!! praise Jesus!

caleb wasn't super excited about taking pictures with his stuffed animal. but we needed one! so here it is:

we had fun without the stuffed animal:

• favorite things to do: eat, crawl, and pull himself up
• favorite thing to watch on tv when distraction is needed: mickey mouse clubhouse (it's amazing what it can do for crying!)
• favorite songs: elvira by the oak ridge boys (calms him down and puts him to sleep in the car) and crazy by gnarls barkley (when we're at the computer, i put it on and he loves to dance to it -- or rock back and forth anyways, his version of dancing) :)
• favorite thing not to do: sleep at night (BOO)

nine months!

wow! caleb is 3/4ths of a year old!! unbelievable! one of his favorite things to do lately is pull himself up, mostly on people's legs, but most anything will do. he's sleeping in his crib at nights, but hasn't been feeling well lately, so sleep at night is not the greatest. both mommy and baby have been a little sick this past week -- not fun!

here are his stats from his doctor visit today:
weight: 20 pounds
length: 28.5 inches

and of course, here are his pictures! he's becoming less and less cooperative during our little photo shoots!

eight months!

WOW! caleb is already eight months! where has the time gone? here are his monthly pictures. stats to come next month, after his nine month doctor appointment. he is a big boy though! he's growing very nicely.

7 months

caleb has been in his 7th month for a week now! this past week has been a trying week for us. caleb has GOT to be teething big time. there are many signs that point to it, but no teeth yet to prove it! drooling, loose stools, swollen gums, fussy-fussy-fussiness. i didn't weigh him or measure his length this month. but i have the usual pictures! i think i'm going to need to figure something else out because he just isn't cooperating as well for these pictures these days.......

6 months.....two weeks later

so two weeks ago, on november 5th, our baby boy was 6 months old! here are his pictures from that day.

also, here are his growth stats: 18 lbs., 27 3/4 in. -- he's our growing big boy!

caleb does all sorts of cool things these days. he eats real food, peas being his current favorite. he can sit up on his own (most of the time). he babbles a TON, except lately it's been more of a grunt than babble. he can inch towards something if he REALLY wants it, but he has to really want it. otherwise, he'll just stay put and stare at it. some nights he sleeps all night without needing to be fed, some nights feeding him is the only thing that works to calm him down. he seems to be scared of water and anytime bath time comes around, he holds on tight to me. he knows how to pinch -- and it HURTS. no teeth yet, but i think he's teething. i can't think of anything else exciting at the moment...he's just an all around cool kid. :)

four months...

caleb had his four month check up today. he was so good for the doctor, even giving him his contagious smile. he definitely cried when he got his shots, but it was short-lived and he was happy very soon after.

here are caleb's four month stats and a few pictures.
weight: 15 lbs. 8 oz. (75th percentile)
length: 27 in. (100th percentile) (wow!) :)
his head was also in the 75th percentile, but i didn't ask how many inches...or i don't remember if she told me............so all in all, he's very healthy and growing nicely. the doctor also said we could start rice cereal...i'll have a separate post for his first time with a spoon and food other than formula...stay tuned. :)

before caleb was born, a friend gave me a stuffed animal so that i could take monthly pictures of caleb with it to see his growth progression...here are the first three months and a bonus from early on...
