ready for school!

NOT! just wanted to see if he could carry his backpack. and at first, he couldn't. and it was HILARIOUS. but, of course, i didn't have a video camera. then, i remembered cameras usually had video capabilities on them. and then i remembered i didn't have mine. but, yay! my mom did. but the hilarious-ness was over. he got his balance and was having a good ol' time walking around. i was going to post that said video, but.....i couldn't get it uploaded. too long, i guess, and i didn't know how to shorten it. :( but here's a couple of pictures! i notice in these pictures, more than in person, that somebody needs a trim!!

being a mom is awesome when......

...........your child crawls up onto your lap, cuddles with you, and falls asleep. this happened to me yesterday, just about wanted to cry. of course i couldn't get a picture, but it was absolutely awesome.

daddy and mommy left me with my grandparents so they could go enjoy a bears/chargers game. i'm making them take me next time! but i had a great time with my grandparents. they're the best. it was my first night away from my mama.

..........no post. so long, in fact, that i just don't know what to post. so here is a picture from our july beach trip.

to celebrate my birthday (and because it's just awesome), me, my mom, caleb, and my two sistas went to IKEA!

i got a couple of things for caleb's room, which i'll post the completed items in another post. after IKEA, we ate lunch at the corner bakery -- DELISH.

for the past few years, the whole family has gone out to celebrate both ed and my birthdays. this year we went to giovanni's in shafter.
