a baby shower gift

my friend janelle is expecting a baby girl in less than a month! we had a baby shower for her with our church on sunday, march 14. i found a very cute bib pattern and decided to make her a couple of bibs. the pattern used a technique i didn't know how to do yet -- cabling! it was fun and i think the cables turned out great.

annie's birthday gift

for annie's birthday, i used my new knitting skills and knitted her wrist warmers and a headband (which lovely claire is modeling). :) they were fun to make!

mama's first knitting project -- finished!!

for my first stab at knitting, i made a beanie-type hat for caleb. i had A LOT of help from my friend wendy (who is the one who taught me how to knit). she's a great teacher. well, i finished the hat this morning! here is my little cutie wearing it! doesn't he look absolutely precious?? :)
